About Diogenes Sun Club
Diogenes Sun Club is one of the UK’s top family friendly Naturist clubs. We have six acres of beautiful grounds on the outskirts of Chalfont St.Peter, all set around a large country house, which we have occupied since 1964, the club itself having previously been located at Bricket Wood near St.Albans since 1932.
Our almost 300 members are drawn from far and wide, with many from the local area, and all know the health and wellbeing benefits of clothes-free recreation, as well as the quality of our facilities. We have spotless indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, which are perfect for those long summer days, or for a quick dip after work or with the family after school. Our beautifully maintained grounds have large lawns for sunbathing and socialising – perhaps with a meal prepared on one of our barbecues – and are also home to our tennis courts and boule pistes. Our sauna, with its plunge pool and cosy lounge, is located in the old stable block and is perfect for easing away stress.
The children of our many family members are well provided for as well, with a delightful outdoor play area and a well equipped indoor play room, and they also love exploring the grounds with their friends!
Diogenes has a wide sporting and social programme to cater for all tastes, with everything from boule tournaments to live music through the year. A recent innovation has been the twice weekly yoga sessions – perfect for wellbeing.
Naturism is proven to improve confidence and body image, and is the ultimate antidote to the stresses of today’s busy lives. At Diogenes we have a well deserved reputation for our friendly atmosphere, and each year we are proud to welcome many new members, together with campers and caravanners from across Europe. We do understand the natural nerves that people may have when first trying Naturism and are proud of our track record in making this first experience a positive one.
We offer free trial visits and are happy to answer any questions people may have about Diogenes, or Naturism in general.
