About Pips Dance Academy

Founded in 2019 by husband-and-wife team Scott and Pippa, Pips Dance Academy has become one of Buckinghamshire’s most loved children’s dance schools — rooted in Chalfont St Peter and built on a simple but powerful ethos: Passion. Inspire. Perform. Succeed.

From the very first class, students are welcomed into a warm, family-feel environment where every child matters — whether they’re stepping onto the dance floor for the first time or working towards a career in the performing arts.

The academy offers a wide range of styles — RAD ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, street dance, musical theatre, acro, and GCSE Dance — catering to ages 3 and above, across all abilities. It’s dance for all. No exceptions.

What sets Pips apart is the depth of opportunity on offer. Students don’t just learn to dance — they perform. Annual shows, summer musicals, local festivals, industry connections, and qualifications through RAD, NATD, Arts Award, and LAMDA give every student a genuine pathway to grow, both on and off the stage.

Every teacher holds an Enhanced DBS certificate and Safeguarding qualification as standard. Several are trained Mental Health First Aiders, too — because at Pips, student wellbeing isn’t an afterthought.
